1. About These Terms
These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of www.plantex.in, customer accounts, and the purchase of products from Plantex E-Commerce Private Limited, operating under the brand “Plantex India”.
These Terms are an electronic record and do not require a physical or digital signature. By using the website, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Shipping Policy, and the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
If a product page, quotation, invoice, promotion, or written agreement contains a specific term that conflicts with these general Terms, the more specific term will apply to that product or transaction, subject to applicable law.

3. Eligibility
You must be legally capable of entering into a contract to place an order. A person under 18 may use the website only through, or with the consent and supervision of, a parent or lawful guardian who accepts responsibility for the transaction.
Where you order for a business, company, institution, or another person, you confirm that you have authority to act for them.
4. Customer Accounts and Security
You may browse without an account, but some features may require registration. You must provide accurate information and keep it updated.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password, OTP, and account access. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use. We may require verification before changing account, delivery, payment, or refund details.
We may suspend or restrict an account where reasonably necessary to protect customers, investigate fraud, comply with law, or prevent misuse.
5. Product Information
We aim to provide accurate product titles, descriptions, specifications, images, dimensions, colours, compatibility information, and availability. Minor differences may occur because of screen settings, lighting, manufacturing tolerances, natural material variation, packaging updates, or product improvements.
Customers must review dimensions, technical requirements, compatibility, installation needs, and included components before purchase. Decorative items shown in an image are not included unless stated.
If an error materially affects the product or order, we may correct the information, contact the customer, offer an alternative, or cancel and refund the affected item.
6. Prices, Taxes, and Errors
Prices are shown in Indian Rupees and include or exclude taxes as stated on the website or invoice. Delivery, COD, installation, and special-handling charges may be added at checkout where applicable.
Prices and promotions may change without notice before an order is accepted. A product being added to the cart does not reserve its price or stock.
If a price, discount, tax, or product listing is clearly incorrect because of a technical or human error, we may cancel the order before delivery and refund any eligible payment. We may also offer the customer the option to purchase at the correct price.
7. Orders and Contract Formation
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. An automated order confirmation only confirms receipt of the order and does not guarantee acceptance, stock, dispatch, or delivery.
The order is accepted when we dispatch the product or otherwise expressly confirm acceptance. Different items in the same order may be accepted and dispatched separately.
We may refuse or cancel an order for stock unavailability, serviceability, payment failure, pricing or listing error, quantity limits, suspected resale abuse, fraud risk, legal restriction, or operational reasons. An eligible prepaid amount will be refunded.
8. Payment
Available payment options are shown at checkout and may include cards, UPI, net banking, wallets, EMI, Cash on Delivery, or other methods provided by authorised payment partners.
Payment approval, reversal, settlement, and processing time may be controlled by the bank or payment provider. We are not responsible for a bank’s or provider’s independent service failure, but we will reasonably assist with transaction verification.
Never share a CVV, UPI PIN, net-banking password, OTP, or similar authentication information with our staff or through customer-support channels.
9. Invoices and Business Purchases
Invoices will be issued using the information provided when the order is placed. Customers requiring a GST invoice must provide complete and correct legal name, GSTIN, billing address, and other required details before invoicing or dispatch.
We may not be able to change an invoice after it has been issued, except where permitted by law and supported by valid documentation.
10. Shipping and Delivery
Shipping coverage, processing, delivery estimates, charges, tracking, failed attempts, return to origin, damaged shipments, and oversized-product conditions are governed by the Shipping Policy.
Delivery dates are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing. Ownership and risk will pass as provided by applicable law and the delivery circumstances.
11. Cancellation, Returns, Replacements, and Refunds
Cancellation eligibility, return windows, replacement conditions, reverse pickup, inspection, refund method, and refund timelines are governed by the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
After dispatch, a customer cannot treat refusal of delivery as an automatic free cancellation. Any refund will depend on the reason for refusal, shipping costs incurred, and applicable law.
12. Warranty and After-Sales Support
Some products include a manufacturer or Plantex warranty. The applicable period, coverage, exclusions, registration requirement, and service method are stated on the product page, packaging, warranty card, invoice, or warranty terms.
Warranty does not normally cover normal wear, consumables, misuse, incorrect installation, accidental damage, corrosion caused by unsuitable conditions, unauthorised repair, modification, or failure to follow instructions, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
A warranty solution may include inspection, troubleshooting, part replacement, repair, product replacement, or another appropriate remedy. Return rights and warranty rights are separate.
13. Installation, Measurement, and Site Readiness
Unless expressly included, product prices do not include installation, plumbing, electrical work, drilling, civil work, lifting, assembly, or removal of old products.
Customers are responsible for checking measurements, site conditions, water pressure, electrical supply, wall strength, floor level, compatibility, access, and professional installation requirements before purchase and installation.
Installation should be completed by a suitably skilled person and in accordance with the product instructions. Plantex India is not responsible for damage caused by incorrect measurement, unsuitable site conditions, or improper installation, subject to applicable law.
14. Promotions, Coupons, and Free Items
Promotions may have separate eligibility, validity, minimum purchase, product, payment, account, or usage conditions. Unless stated otherwise, promotions cannot be combined, exchanged for cash, or applied retrospectively.
If an order is cancelled or returned, the promotional benefit may be recalculated. A free item must normally be returned with the main product or its reasonable value may be deducted from the refund.
We may cancel or correct a promotion affected by a technical error, misuse, duplicate accounts, automated ordering, or fraud, while respecting completed consumer transactions and applicable law.
15. Reviews and Customer Content
You may submit genuine reviews, ratings, questions, images, or feedback. You remain responsible for your content and confirm that you have the right to submit it.
Content must not be knowingly false, unlawful, abusive, threatening, discriminatory, obscene, misleading, infringing, privacy-invasive, promotional spam, or unrelated to the product or service.
We may moderate, refuse, or remove content that violates these rules. We will not remove a genuine negative review only because it is critical. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to display, reproduce, adapt for formatting, and use it for operating and promoting the website, subject to the Privacy Policy.

We may verify identity, address, payment, COD orders, order quantity, delivery history, and refund details where reasonably required for security or fraud prevention. We may limit quantities, require prepaid payment, hold processing, or cancel suspicious orders.
We may share necessary information with payment providers, courier partners, fraud-prevention services, authorities, or advisers in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
18. Intellectual Property
The website, trademarks, logos, product names, photographs, graphics, text, videos, catalogues, layout, software, and other content are owned by or licensed to Plantex India and are protected by applicable law.
You may view and use the website for personal or legitimate business purchasing purposes. You may not reproduce, modify, publish, distribute, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit protected content without prior written permission.
19. Third-Party Services and Links
The website may use or link to third-party payment, courier, social-media, map, review, analytics, or other services. Their services and policies are controlled by them. We are not responsible for third-party content or conduct outside our reasonable control, but this does not limit our responsibility for the products or obligations that applicable law places on us.
20. Website Availability and Errors
We may maintain, update, suspend, or change website features. We do not guarantee that the website will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or compatible with every device.
We may correct typographical, technical, pricing, stock, or content errors. Where an error affects an existing order, we will take a fair and lawful approach, which may include correction, customer confirmation, replacement, cancellation, or refund.
21. Product and Website Disclaimers
Products must be used only for their intended purpose and in accordance with instructions, warnings, load limits, installation requirements, and local conditions. Customers should obtain professional assistance for plumbing, electrical, structural, height-related, or safety-critical work.
To the extent permitted by law, general website information is provided for convenience and does not replace professional technical advice. Nothing in these Terms excludes an express warranty, statutory guarantee, or mandatory consumer right.
22. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Plantex India will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable, including loss arising from misuse, incorrect installation, unauthorised alteration, failure to follow instructions, or events outside our reasonable control.
Where liability cannot legally be excluded, our responsibility will be limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law and will take account of the nature of the loss, the product, and the remedy available.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence where such limitation is prohibited, or any non-waivable consumer right.
23. Customer Responsibility and Indemnity
You are responsible for loss caused by your unlawful use of the website, fraud, intentional misuse, infringement of another person’s rights, or material breach of these Terms. To the extent permitted by law, you agree to reimburse reasonable losses and costs arising directly from such conduct.
This clause does not apply to genuine consumer complaints, good-faith reviews, or the lawful exercise of consumer rights.
24. Events Beyond Reasonable Control
Neither party will be responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, epidemic restrictions, war, civil disturbance, strikes, government actions, transport breakdowns, major network outages, payment-system failure, or courier disruption. We will take reasonable steps to reduce the impact and complete, reschedule, replace, or refund affected orders as appropriate.
25. Consumer Rights and Grievance Redressal
Nothing in these Terms removes or reduces any mandatory right or remedy available under applicable consumer law. Customers may use the grievance process below and may also approach any consumer, regulatory, judicial, or statutory forum available under law.

We will acknowledge consumer grievances within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within one month from receipt, or within any shorter period required by applicable law.
26. Suspension or Termination
We may suspend website access, an account, or an order where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, abuse prevention, or material breach. Where appropriate, we will provide notice or an opportunity to clarify the issue.
Terms that are intended to continue, including payment obligations, intellectual property, dispute provisions, and liability rules, will survive account closure or termination.
27. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect legal, technical, product, or business changes. The revised version will be posted with an updated effective date. Changes will not normally alter an already accepted order unless required by law, agreed with the customer, or more favourable to the customer.
28. General Provisions
If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver of that right. Headings are for convenience only.
You may not transfer your rights or obligations under an order without our consent. We may transfer our business rights and obligations as part of a lawful restructuring, financing, or sale, provided customer rights are not materially reduced.
These Terms and the policies referred to in them form the entire general agreement for website use and purchases, unless a separate written agreement applies.
29. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to mandatory consumer forums, statutory authorities, and other legal rights, disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of competent courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
